This wedding was so special to me because Megan is the Owner of Down Annie Lane, a local planner to the New Orleans Area. Being able to work with a friendor for their own wedding is pretty much the ultimate compliment! Their daughter Harper was a ray of sunshine and had the best time of her life! I particularly love that they all danced together for part of Megan and Rae’s first dance. Talk about emotional in the sweetest way! The couple opted for a first look at their prep location which allowed us more freedom for their portraits. We were able to relax and even take portraits at their ceremony/reception venue. The new all white courtyard at The Moore Wedding Venue is so elegant and the big white fireplace reminds me of Il Mercato, another sought after venue in the New Orleans area. It is such an ideal location for an outdoor courtyard wedding with an indoor reception option.

After their ceremony, we partied all night with the amazing talent of Dat Band. This band always brings the energy and keeps me dancing all night long. All in all it was a pretty incredible day/night and I am forever honored to play such a huge part in my couples’ day. Enjoy a few favorites from their day!
