A Romantic Wedding in New Orleans City Park
Stephanie and Jonathan had the most romantic wedding in New Orleans City Park complete with a first look, sunshine and giggling friends. They are two of the kindest and high spirited souls…when they are together their love is contagious!
Windsor Court in New Orleans was the perfect backdrop for Stephanie’s bridal prep. The suite was soft with neutral colors and complimented the whole esthetic of the wedding. Emotions always run high during wedding prep and it is always so lovely to document the real and raw moments that happen throughout the day. Her parents love for her showed as they both had happy tears flowing once she was dressed.
In addition to her family being emotional, their first look at Popp Fountain in New Orleans City Park was just the same. The moments before you see each other are so dramatic and anxious. The walk to the big reveal is always so somber and poetic. Once they laid eyes on each other, they did not care who was watching. It was the sweetest moment ever! Jonathan spun her around and could’t stop marveling at how beautiful she looked. After the joyous tears were shed, we had an incredible time photographing their formals, and Popp Fountain never disappoints.
Upon arriving to their wedding ceremony at St. Anthony of Padua in New Orleans, you could see how ready they were in their eyes. My favorite moments were before the ceremony started and they had a quiet moment together outside of the church.
Their reception was a non stop party! Groovy 7 kept the crowd entertained as they always do (THEY ARE SO GREAT!) and the dancing never stopped. I hope you all enjoy my favorite highlights from their day!
