A Gorgeous Engagement Session at Sunrise in New Orleans

August 22, 2025

TK and Brad’s Romantic Destination Engagement Session

Tk and Brad flirted their way through New Orleans while visiting from Chicago and we planned a beautiful session. We walked through the quiet French Quarter streets, danced on Canal Street at the streetcar line, and smelled the fresh lemon scent of the streets.

We chose an early start because here in New Orleans, the summertime is HOT, humid and slow. Choosing sunrise or sunset is best because otherwise, you are drenched in sweat like you just took a whole damn shower. Frankly, no one needs to see that.

“New Orleans is like a giant flashing yellow light. Proceed with caution … but proceed.” – Matthew McConaughey

After our stroll around the French Quarter, we just had to visit the iconic New Orleans City Park and let them see the true beauty of the centuries old oak trees. They were definitely showing off this morning dripping in sunlight and dew drops from the humid air. It was truly a magical backdrop for their photographs. They danced, twirled and even snuggled up on the park bench.

Once we wrapped up their session, I left them with a list of must do’s and the first, was going to Cafe Du Monde in City Park for New Orleans Beignets. They don’t look like much, but they are iconic to our city and you MUST eat them with a frozen Cafe Au Lait when you visit the city. I know we all had an amazing time and their vacation was one to remember.
