Haley’s Bridal Session at Livaudais Hall in New Orleans
I can finally share Haley’s Bridal Session that we shot at Livaudias Hall what seems like years ago! When we were discussing locations I knew that a space that offered indoor and outdoor options would be ideal because it was freezing outside. The location of her bridal session was stunning and a rather new venue in the New Orleans area. The attention to detail and intricate carvings makes Livaudais Hall and amazing choice for a bridal session or any type of session for that matter!
Earlier in the month, I went to a walk through of Livaudias Hall and immediately knew it would be perfect for Haley. Her custom dress from Evelyn Bridal had intricate lace work that paired well with the detailing of the millwork. This venue also used to be a Catholic Church, which also paired well with her actually Catholic Church Ceremony.
I am obsessed with the historical content of our venues here in the city so let me share a few fun facts about this gorgeous space.
It is located at 2205 Second street in Faubourg Livaudais(liv-a-day), a neighborhood within Uptown New Orleans, Livaudais Hall, was once the home of St Francis De Sales Catholic Church. The church was founded in New Orleans in 1867, only 2 years after the end of the civil war.
St Francis De Sales operated at Livaudais Hall from 1875 until 2008, when it was de-consecrated by the Church and sold to a non-profit. In 2017 the property was sold to a local developer, Peter Gardner, and the entire property was restored.
I hope you enjoy all of the gorgeousness that Haley was serving us and I cannot wait to share their wedding photographs soon!
